Spinning

Mikayla:My Opa can make anything fun. He and my cousin Eliot helped me to discover my new favorite game. Spinning! We take Opa's office chair and push it into the family room and then Opa spins us round and round till we can't walk right. I tried spinning Oma but she got dizzy after only a few times around.

Three little Nagys

3 little Nagys sitting on the chair. No one fell off. I just wanted to be close to my sister and cousin Eliot. Oma thought we all looked pretty cute.

Snow

After a month of being up north I finally got to see snow! It was pretty cool, my nose turned red. Here I am helping to shovel the driveway.

Chocolate

Yesterday I saw mommy eating some chocolate. I know how good chocolate tastes, so I told mommy; “I need chocolate too!” They laughed at my sentence and gave me a little piece. Yummy!

Nagy Christmas

We celebrated Christmas a little late at my Opa and Oma’s house. I got my own kid camera! I love taking photos. I don’t even look most of the time, I just like hearing the button go. Maybe I will post a photo of my own soon. It was a lot of fun playing with my cousin Eliot. Eliot’s cousin Ashley even stopped by and we got a few photos taken all together. Of course then they made us sit for a family photo.

On to Buffalo

After Christmas with Grandpa and Gramma we went across a bridge to Canada and across another bridge to Niagara Falls and then another bridge to Grand Island, NY, to Opa and Oma’s house. They even have a chair for Elijah to sit in at dinner time. I like to pull him close. (Maybe I’ll sneak my veggies to him.)

Big Girl training

After finding me in the crib a few times with no pants or diapers on, mommy decided it was time to potty train me. Daddy and I spent a bunch of time practicing how to use the potty. I like wearing big-girl pants. I am getting better at keeping my pants dry, even through my nap time. Mommy hopes that she has bought the last pack of diapers for me. (I still wear them to bed.) I can even multi-task, using the potty and brushing my teeth at the same time.

Hanging at the Grandparents’ house

Elijah: Here I am chilling out with Grandpa and Sammy. He’s protecting me from Sammy’s licks. Mikayla: I got to rock in a chair that was just my size. Sammy wanted to be in all the pictures with us.

Christmas morning

Christmas was great, I got a lot of neat stuff. Unwrapping the gifts was a little challenging. All that unwrapping made me very tired--luckily, there were lots of people to sleep on.

Massage

My Aunt Jenny gave me a massage; I liked it a lot.

Drinking

Gotta stay hydrated!

Candlelight service

We got to go to a candlelight Christmas service at the church my mommy grew up at. Pretty fun, the best part was definitely when we light the candles and sang at the end. Mommy let me help her hold it. I think they should have candles every time we go to church.

Painting cookies

I helped to paint sugar cookies at Gramma’s house. It was so fun, and I got to eat some of the cookies.

Meeting Aunt Jenny

Here I am with Aunt Jenny. It’s my first time meeting her. She’s pretty cool. I think she can teach me how to wrestle with my sister.

Helping Grandpa

Here I am with Grandpa and Sammy helping put wire around the trees to protect them from the deer. I liked running around with Sammy. It was a little harder to see her with my big coat and hat on. I also liked walking out to the mailbox with Grandpa and Sammy. It was a long walk; Grandpa had to carry me a little ways.

Roadtrip

We started out our tour of the eastern US at our cousin’s house in Georgia. I had a lot of fun with Jenna and Kyle. We went to the playground, had fun in the yard, I played the piano with Jenna, and with Kyle’s cool train. They offered to let me stay with them, but we figured the grandparents wouldn’t be too happy if mom and dad showed up without me. Thank you Aunt Lisa and Uncle Kerry, Jenna and Kyle for letting us stay at your house and for all the fun!
