Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day I made a new friend. Her name is Jadyn. She came over to our house with her little sister so her mommy could go to the office. We had fun pretending we were princesses. She was Sleeping Beauty and I was Belle. I also got to go to dance class that day, so it was a very nice Valentine's!

Modified Diet

A few weeks ago I had a doctor's appointment. The doctor said I was healthy but that we should cut back on milk in hopes of getting me to eat more and gain some more weight. I've pretty much had the same weight since I was 6 months old. Here I am am trying on chocolate pudding and spaghetti. Both were quite yummy, not sure which one is really my color.

New house?

Mommy and Daddy have been very busy lately. They are going to try and sell our house and get a different one. When mommy told me I made sure to ask her if I could come, and Elijah, and my toys and other stuff. So Mommy and Daddy have been doing work to get our house all clean so someone will come and say I want to live here. Daddy pulled out a stump from the back yard this weekend and used our wagon like a wheelbarrow. He and our neighbor then took it to the dump. Most days I ask mommy if we are moving today and she says no. I don't know if we will ever move.

Adventures

A few weeks ago we went to Kanga Room. They have a bunch of bounce houses and blow-up slides and stuff. Elijah is turning into a real climber! Mommy and Daddy even got in with us and jumped. I wish we could go every day. We also got some special time with daddy a week ago as he stayed home while mommy took a class at work. It was nice to have extra time with daddy. He took us to the "blue park" one day. I, Mikayla, also got to try out a trampoline for the first time this weekend. It was at Daddy's boss's house. It was lots of fun but I had to be real careful.

Dance Class

I started dance class a few weeks ago. They are held at church and taught my a woman named Ms. Julia. She works for Disney and looks like a princess. She teaches us how to do stretches and different ballet moves. It is very fun. She tells us to put on our listening ears, and mommy tells me to take a nap those days cause Julia doesn't want any whiny children in her class. I like wearing my different outfits to ballet! And I like doing "shop-say" where we put our feet together and go around in circles.

Progress report

Elijah: I turn 18 months old this week. I like to dance, and spin around just like my big sister. I love emptying puzzles all over the floor, but not picking them up. I can say mom, and "ah da" (all done) and do the sign for it, and "mil" (milk) and please and thank you, and more. I can say da da but usually call him ma ma too. I can point to my nose, mouth, ears and hair. I prefer milk or other dairy products and bread; nothing else, well maybe Wendy's chicken nuggets.
