Well-comm

I have been learning lots of new words. I now like saying tank-u (thank you) and u well-come (your welcome.) Mimi and Da-da seem to like it a lot too. Can anyone tell me what spagettios are? Mommy taught me to say uh-oh sa-gettios! Next we'll work on see ya later alligator. I've also been practicing my brother's name.

Busy Day

Today I went with Daddy in the morning to help a few friends move. Then we came home and had lunch, and they put me in my crib for a nap. But I decided to jump and talk to my stuffed animals instead. Then we went to my friend Wilson's house, he turned 100 days old today. We had fun Korean food, and I got to climb some stairs. I also got to see my friend Joseph. Meanwhile mommy had her birthday today and is over 11,000 days old today. Then it rained really hard, which was fun but I still don't like the thunder. Tonight we went to my friend Molly's house for dinner. It was yummy.

Likes and Dislikes

Things I don't like: when the big elephant on Sesame Street jumps around and shakes everything I get scared. I don't like when supergrover falls out of the sky. I don't like thunder, even though mom keeps telling me it can't hurt me. Dad says it's just God bowling. What's bowling?

Thinks I now like: Showers- its fun to stand in the rain inside! I will stay in the shower as long as mom and dad let me. I like saying rain and wha-ter and whet. Taking my kitty (me-yao) with me wherever I go--I can even fit him in my chair besides me for breakfast. My gummy vitamins--they are so yummy, I would eat a bunch, but mom only lets me have one a day. Playing video games with daddy. He lets me have my own controller!

New Crib

Last night I slept in a new crib... well new to me. Mom decided she'd rather not rush me to give up my crib for my baby brother. (Read-she doesn't want me to be able to run around my room and play with my toys in the middle of the night.) So she got a crib that turns into a toddler bed she found on craigslist. It's pretty cool, I helped dad put it together last night.

Conditional Statements

Dad thinks I'm pretty advanced since I now can understand if/then statements. Like if you wanna watch Barney you need to put away your book... or turn off the radio. Or making me try one bite of grown up food before letting me have milk or something I want. I think they are discovering my weaknesses... like how I'd do most anything to watch Elmo.

Mooo time

Do you know what a cow says? I do: Moooooooooooo. I also know the lion says rooooirrrr and the sheep says baaaaa. The dog says wooof and the cat says me-yao! I like making animal noises. Daddy likes the way I put my lips when I say moooooo, its about the same as when I pucker up to give him a big kiss. So old mcdonald must live somewhere near here, cause we saw cows on the way home. Daddy stopped and I moooed at them, but they just looked at me and kept eating grass. I like cows, cause they make milk and cheese.

Attack oven

You know how parents are always telling you what to do, and what not to do. It's like they think they know everything. Well, I found out maybe I should listen a bit more often. I was hanging off of the oven door this morning, when the door came open and I was flattened underneath. I'm fine, but it did scare me. Mom and dad usually lock the oven door but mommy made cookies last night and forgot to lock it when she was done.

Potty time

Last night was bath night. Mom helped me take off my shirt and shorts. Then daddy took off my diaper. He made me sit on my potty chair while he put water in the bathtub. Mommy and Daddy have been talking about how big girls pee in the potty. So I did. NO ONE NOTICED, and so I got into my bathtub and took my bath. This morning I joined mommy in the bathroom and she finally noticed that there was something in my little potty. Guess I'm officially a big girl now. What else can big girls do? I want to know my rights.

Sharing

I don't like to share. This week my friend Charis came over to play and we always wanted the same toy. Mommy would try to distract one of us with something else... but they are my toys! I have been alerted that soon I will be sharing my things with my brother. One of the things we will share is this blog. (I guess I can help him out, as he won't be able to spell or type for awhile.) He just better keep away from my precious kitty toy "me-yao!"

Preparing for baby brother

One week closer to meeting my baby brother. Mommy had an ultrasound last week that shows my brother is breech--I guess that just means he makes mommy uncomfortable. He is doing good inside mommy, and will probably weigh about 8 lbs. when born. Me and Mommy have been hanging out at home a lot. Partially cause she has to use the bathroom all the time, and public bathrooms scare me. The library restroom has toilets that flush automatically and this thing on the wall that is loud and blows air in my face. I scream when mommy takes me in there. We did go to the mall the other day to get a handprint kit for my brother, they have one for me that shows my hand when I was really little. There is this cool spot in the mall that has carpet and the floor is bouncy and all us kiddos can run around and squeal--that was my favorite part. Some girl there tried to explain duck, duck, goose to me, but I didn't understand. I'm working on new words all the time. I started saying "tank u" (thank you) and "mess" recently. From the reaction of mom and dad thank you is a good word and they don't like mess.

Real Estate

I heard that real estate is a good investment. Mommy is addicted to something called craigslist. (Nothing to do with Grampa- it's online classifieds) A few weeks ago she got me a bunch of clothes for a great price. This time mom found this slide and a house for sale. Daddy paid cash, so no mortgage, but I heard something about charging me rent. I'm sure I'll have lots of fun with my house. I'm a little scared to climb up the slide, but I will learn. We got these just in time to play with Gramma and Grampa.

Keep on Truckin'

So the other day we went to a flea market, but didn't get any fleas. I did get a cool pair of flip flops and dad let me try to drive a big rig. (It was just a video game, but I think I will be a truck driver when I grow up, or at least when I can reach the pedals.)

Happy Independence Day

What a day! It started with dad getting me up so we could go to Lake Hart (where daddy works) for a bike parade. Since I don't ride a bike yet, Dad pulled me around in my cool wagon. It was all decorated for Independence Day; I won 3rd prize for my age group! I really like being independent! (Although when I'm tired I like to hug daddy.) Then, after a good nap at home, we watched the space shuttle take off--it was pretty small from Orlando, but still cool. Then we went over to my friend Charis' house. Everyone ate corn and burgers and I had a little bit of banana. Me and Charis had fun with our new friend Molly and got nice and dirty. When we got home all our neighbors were setting off fireworks, I thought it was scary so I went to bed.
