Play time

This weekend was lots more fun than last weekend. Mom and Dad took me to the park and I got to swing and slide and climb on the playground equipment. It was fun. No getting sick! We even went for a short bike ride, but mommy got tired.

Busy Mommy

Wow I think mommy got worn out yesterday. It started when my pet lizard, fred, came in the house. Well actually I guess it started much earlier when I decided to not sleep much that night. So anyway mom opens the door in the morning to go help our neighbor and fred runs in. Dad didn't see it, didn't believe it. But later mom bravely captured fred and put him outside. Daddy was home all day cause he didn't feel good. Mom and I went to the store so dad could rest and got some pictures printed. (Almost all of me of course, and very cute.) So now we've all been sick and hopefully will be well soon. (Of course my nose is drippy, or is it runny?)

Cherry Jell-o

That's right, I got to try Jell-o for the first time today. At first I didn't think I liked it, but then wow, its like a party for my mouth. Why did my parents let me try this jiggly sensation? Well, the rest of this blog entry is not for the queasy... Yesterday me and mommy got sick. I messed up my car seat and about 4 pairs of pajamas and crib sheets. For a while, I could'nt even handle water. Mom didn't feel good either, she was very thankful for Daddy feeling well enough to take care of me. Now that we're recovering, it's Jell-o, veggie broth clear liquids and other mild foods for meals. No pictures for this post, and be glad the blog can't do smells!

Big News

Yesterday as Mommy was feeding me lunch a historic event happened. A rocket was launched on its way to Pluto (not Mickey's dog, the planet)! Mom said it wouldn't arrive there until I'm 10 years old! We could see the trail of smoke as we looked east. So that was pretty cool, however we have some more news. I snuck a secret wish to Santa for a little brother or sister. He said OK, but I have to wait until August. That's right, Mommy is growing a baby right now! I don't know how, but we went to the doctor the other day and they put this little thing (I guess it was like a microphone) on Mommy's tummy and we heard the baby's heartbeat. Now Mom is begging me to sleep through the night so they will have a little time of normal sleep before Baby Nagy arrives. Two more months and we can find out if its a boy or girl.

All Better

I went back to the doctor today. He looked in my ears, and listened to my heart and said I was all better. Guess I better start eating like it! But in my defense I did eat a lot of spagetti tonight. I want to give a special shout out to Jackson and his parents Justin and Jill. We will miss you so much!

New Heights

Today I surprised Mom and Dad--I showed them how I can climb into my booster seat all by myself! Now they'll have to make sure they push the chairs under the table so they can hear if I'm moving one into ready-to-climb-on position. Hmmm, I wonder if I can find some cool stuff to play with in those higher cabinets...

Slide reconciliation

Today mommy was excited cause she was getting to drop off a bunch of her paintings at the church to be hung up. I got to see K-Mo (a friend of mom and dad's who works at the church.) Afterwards mommy surprised me by taking me to the park. I got to swing which I love. Just to make sure mom knows how much I love to swing I cried when she took me out. Then we went to the slides. If you read my blog regularly you know I hate slides. But this one was different. Mom helped me down a few times, then I decided to climb up the slide with mom's help. Sorry no photos, mom didn't think to bring the camera. I think I have reconciled with slides. Well, at least small ones that are not covered. Again when mom tried to take me away I kicked and screamed. I heard mom say something about "mini tantrum". I did forgive her after a few minutes in the van. We went home and walked to the mailbox, I said hello to a man who is putting in flooring in a house down the street. I am feeling mostly better, but still have a cough and have not had much of an appetite.

famous 4s

My friend Caryn tagged me that I needed to answer these questions:

4 jobs you've had in your life: does daughter, granddaughter, cousin and friend count?

4 movies you can watch over and over: I'm 14 months, do you think I have that kind of attention span? No way! Not that mom would let me watch right now anyhow, but I'm sure when I get older I'll watch Anne of Green Gables with mom and Incredibles and Finding Nemo with dad

4 places you've lived: Well how long do you have to be someplace to have lived there? Orlando, Inside Mommy, and briefly at Opa & Oma's and Grampa and Gramma's houses

4 TV shows you love to watch: Mom doesn't really let me watch TV either, but on the DVD video front I do like Baby Einstien and Bear in the Big Blue house

4 places you've been on vacation: Albequirky, NM (visiting my boyfriend EJ), Niagara Falls, NY, Burlington, Ontario (to visit IKEA), and Jackson, MI

4 Websites you visit daily: Mom discourages me from surfing, I blog quite a bit and check in on my homeboy EJ

4 of your favorite foods: This week or last, I keep changing my mind. Milk and yogurt are up there, mom's chicken casserole, and I used to really dig blueberries and bananas.

4 places you'd rather be: Out of my crib, outside, my ball pit, with daddy at work.

4 albums you can't live without: what's an album? mom has a few photo albums of me do you mean those? Are you refering to music?! hmmm... I do like my silly songs CD by veggie tales that says my name.

Health Update

Mom says I've had a few calls concerning my health. I'm reluctantly letting dad give me my meds. I still have a cough and runny nose, and I've been a pretty selective eater, but I do think I'm getting a little better. Mom and dad are still trying to use up as many tissues as possible. Friday we went to the zoo. It was cold out and many of the animals didn't want to come out and say hello. We saw a few big cats, and the monkeys looked like they were having fun. Here's me on a bench that was there that was just my size. P.S. I got your thank-you card, Aunt Sue and Aunt Marcia--it was delicious!

Hard Week

I went to the doctor on Tues and he discovered that I had an ear infection in both ears. Not to mention my smoker's cough, runny nose and fever. Mom got some medicine for me to take, but I still feel miserable. I like to lay in Daddy's arms for comfort. Mom and Dad tried to cheer me up yesterday by taking a bike ride and going to the park with the kiddie swings. It was a good distraction. Tonight Daddy has a photograph that will be featured at the Orlando Museum of Art's 1st Thursday event. I hope I feel good enough to go. You can pray I would feel better soon. (I have so many cool toys to play with from Christmas, and want to show them off to my friends, but I can't till I'm better.)

Toy land

My cousin Eliot is so lucky. He lives right down the street from Fisher-Price headquarters. We went down to visit while there, and they had several giant toys set out. But the store was closed. Guess Santa's helpers needed a vacation after the Christmas rush.

On an unrelated note, I was crying and mom saw another tooth in my mouth. It's on top, closer to the back. That makes 9 and I'm working on more.

Niagara Falls

Did I mention that while we were at Opa and Oma's house my Gramma and Grampa Miller, and Aunt Jenny came to visit? It was the first time I have seen all four grandparents together. Boy, did I get a lot of attention. We of course had to go visit the falls, but it was sooo cold, but Aunt Jenny had never seen them before.

Merry-go-Round

Here is a pic of me on my first merry-go-round ride. Opa went with me. It was pretty fun, especially since Oma, Mom, Dad, Aunt Jenny, Grampa and Gramma were all on the sidelines and would wave like crazed fans every time I went by. Opa was laughing at them.

No Gravity?

Today was so freaky, gravity stopped working and I almost floated away. Not really, Dad was just having fun throwing me in the air, don't worry he hasn't dropped me. Sorry for my long absence, but I am now back home in Florida where yesterday we took a bike ride and Dad wore shorts. New Year's Eve we flew from Buffalo back home, I only slept for a few minutes on the plane, and we hit 2006 while collecting our luggage at the airport. So I didn't go to sleep that night till 12:30! I already miss Opa and Oma, but not the snow. (Snow and slides are on my "do not like" list.) I mean, would you like it if you were in this snow suit and couldn't get up?! I do however like my stylin' pink and purple boots. Right now I'm sick. Runny nose, a little fever and a "smoker's cough"- don't worry Mom and Dad don't really let me smoke. I'm going to the doctor tommorow. (Hopefully no shots!)
