Little Pumpkins

Just a few days until "FamJam" at our church where they will have bouncy houses, wild animals, and candy. Elijah and I can't wait. Mom wanted to get some pics of us in our costumes. I wanted to show off our "new" used car. Mommy and Daddy saved their pennies to get it. Mommy said the Buick was an old jalopy. It has a built-in car seat just for me. We are getting ready to give the Buick away.

Kanga Room

Here's what it's like when Daddy takes video of us when he's in the bouncy house with us.

Pirates

Yesterday my mom was explaining to me that her and daddy were going on a date. We would stay here and our neighbors would watch us. They are going on a dinner boat cruise with friends. When I heard about the boat I got curious. So I asked her if she was going to be a pirate. She said no. (Daddy will not be a pirate either, sounds boring.)

Fall Festivals

Mikayla:I don't like scary stuff. But I do like fall festivals. We have been to a few recently. Daddy's work had one where we went on a hay ride--it was bumpy and the hay felt scratchy. They had a bouncy house that I went in several times. Elijah got to walk around a lot by himself and he liked being outside. We got our own pumpkin. Mommy says we'll carve it or paint a face later. Then this weekend we saw a fall festival at a church in Winter Park that we went to last year. This year Elijah was big enough to go on the train ride with me. We got balloon animals and I got a flower painted on my face. We even got a pic in the pumpkin patch but then it started to rain, so we ran for the car. Next week we will go to our church for FamJam. They will have lots of candy and bouncy houses!

Family Dance Time

We both like to groove and dance.

Telephone talk

I love talking on the phone. Mom and Dad get a kick out of the things I say.

More SeaWorld pics

Our friends the Auffhammers just sent us a few more photos of the day.

I'm a toddler now

I think it's now official that I am no longer a baby, but a toddler. Walking is great! I'm getting better and better and can even stand up without pulling up on anything.

Sharing SeaWorld

The other day we spent the day at SeaWorld with our new friends Jordan and Haley. We watched Shamu splash, looked at sharks, saw a polar bear really close up and then we went on some of the kiddie rides. Elijah even got to go on some of them. I think he liked feeling like a big kid.

Copy-kitties

Yesterday mommy surprised me with these two headbands that have kitty ears. She said they were copycat ears, but dad modified it to copy kitty (cause being a copycat is not seen as a positive thing.) So then we copy each other. (It's mom's secret way of trying to get me to listen and obey better.) I like being a copy kitty.

"Book-fence"

That is the hungarian word for somersault (well, it's actually more like "bukfenc"). I like to strike this pose many times a day. I like it when mom or dad flips me over the rest of the way, but can't do it on my own yet. You might be wondering what happened to my hair after the yogurt incident, well, mom tried washing it out with a wet washcloth, but it made my hair sticky, which made for good hair gel. I even went out in public like this!

Happy Birthday Lumms

This weekend we went to a kids gym to celebrate our neighbor's birthdays. (Mikayla: My birthday is still coming up and it's going to be pink.) They had trampolines, slides, swings, even boncy houses. It was fun. Thank you Lumm kids! (and parents)
